Meet Lori

While Lori Hruby became a licensed broker in 2016, her career in real estate started much earlier. In 1985, she worked in the mortgage industry and eventually went to work for Merrill Lynch Relocation Management (later acquired by Prudential Real Estate). After this, she worked for an affordable-housing real estate developer and as a high-risk real estate contract administrator at GE Capital. Following this, Lori worked at Investco, acquiring extensive experience with residential, investment and commercial properties, managing a portfolio of hundreds of LLCs that owned real estate. After 15 years at Investco, Lori decided her love for real estate wouldn't be complete until she experienced it from a sales perspective. Now, she works out of John L. Scott’s Covington/Kent/Maple Valley location and has enjoyed serving as a broker for the last two years.

Because of Lori’s extensive background in real estate, she has worked in nearly every avenue of the industry – including residential, multi-family, land, commercial, apartments, industrial and agricultural. Her more than three decades of experience mean Lori knows exactly where to find information if it’s not already in her knowledge bank! She is uniquely qualified to guide clients on the critical issues involving their personal real estate objectives, bringing valued insights and experienced assessment to every aspect of her service throughout the transaction process.

She keeps a careful watch on her transactions, keeping clients up-to-date and informed. Lori takes great care in serving each client with individual attention, enthusiasm and insightful awareness into the details of the greater Puget Sound real estate market. Lori is inspired by the honesty, transparency and integrity her agents and clients show, and says if they give her that, she will respect and “go to the ends of the earth” for them.

Lori has a spacious yard, and enjoys developing her garden and tending to her plants. Additionally, Lori often spends time with her four children and grandchild. She also loves her church and makes it a priority in her life. Through her church, she is involved with The Gabriel Project, an organization that provides support to women experiencing a crisis pregnancy. She also donates to Catholic Community Services’ food bank and volunteers with her family feeding the homeless.
